Clear answers. Confident decisions.

Start here for questions about choosing a level, registration, pricing, weekly schedules, the pool, absences, and makeups.

Placement and levels

Start with what the swimmer can do independently and repeatedly today. Use the level finder for a recommendation, then read the readiness markers on that level page.

Age ranges help group peers, but current water skills and safety needs matter most. The team may recommend a different level after observing the swimmer.

The instructor will assess comfort and skills. If another placement is safer or more productive, the team will explain the recommendation and help identify the best available class.

Private lessons can help beginners, hesitant swimmers, adults, swimmers needing additional support, or experienced swimmers with specific stroke goals.

Yes. Adults enroll in private lessons so the pace and goals can be tailored to the individual swimmer.

Lesson pricing and weekly classes

Lessons are 30 minutes. Each package meets once a week at the same reserved day and time.

Parent & Tot is $38 per lesson, group lessons are $43 per lesson, and private lessons are $75 per lesson.

Your selected class shows its session dates, number of lessons, and enrollment total before checkout.

Yes. Eligible sibling and multi-class discounts are applied automatically during registration.

A schedule change depends on level fit and current availability. Contact the team before assuming another time can be reserved.

Saving a class space

Full classes stay visible so families can see genuine demand and compare other sessions. Only classes with an active Register button currently have space.

No. A space is reserved only after the Jackrabbit registration process is completed. Group classes have only three spaces.

Use the Jackrabbit Parent Portal at https://app.jackrabbitclass.com/jr3.0/ParentPortal/Login?orgID=548344. It shows enrollment details and tools for reporting eligible absences and finding available makeups.

The online Jackrabbit flow is the clearest way to select a specific open class. Text or call if you need help choosing before you complete it.

When a swimmer cannot attend

Open the Parent Portal, locate the affected class, and report the absence as early as possible.

No. One eligible swimmer absence may be made up in another compatible class when space is available. Reporting an absence does not automatically reserve a makeup.

A facility or weather-related closure does not use the swimmer absence. Watch your email and Parent Portal for the resolution and next instructions.

Makeups must be appropriate for the swimmer. The Parent Portal displays only options considered compatible and currently available.

Arrival, equipment, and supervision

The Aqua Dome is inside Pierce Country Day Camp at 37 Mineola Avenue, Roslyn, NY 11576.

Bring a secure swimsuit, towel, dry clothes, optional goggles, and a hair tie or cap for long hair. Parent & Tot adults also need a swimsuit.

Yes. A responsible adult age 18 or older must remain at the facility for every swimmer under age 18.

A child who is not toilet trained must wear a swim diaper beneath snug plastic swim pants with fitted waist and leg openings.

Tell the instructor. Lessons build comfort in small steps and swimmers are encouraged without being forced underwater or rushed.
