Take Command of The Water
Level 3 is for swimmers who can already move independently on their front and back. Lessons develop recognizable freestyle and backstroke, introduce more advanced kick patterns, and build the breathing control and endurance needed for longer swims.

Is Level 3 the right class?
Level 3 is for independent swimmers who are ready to turn basic front and back swimming into recognizable, repeatable strokes.
✓ Swims approximately 10 to 15 yards without physical assistance
✓ Floats and recovers independently on the front and back
✓ Enters deeper water calmly and returns to the wall
✓ Uses a basic flutter kick and alternating arm action
✓ Treads or sculls for approximately 30 seconds
Four building blocks of stronger stroke technique
Level 3 develops efficient movement, controlled breathing, and the endurance to swim farther with consistent form.
Freestyle & Side Breathing
Better body position, arm recovery, flutter kick, and rhythmic side breathing without lifting the head forward.
Backstroke Technique
Balanced alignment, continuous kicking, alternating arms, and a steady body position over longer distances.
New Stroke Foundations
Breaststroke kick and introductory pull-breathe-kick timing, plus dolphin kick for future butterfly development.
Endurance & Deep-Water Control
Streamlined push-offs, treading, floating for rest, and increasing distance while maintaining safe technique.
Are You Ready for Level 4?
Swimmers advance when their strokes remain controlled and repeatable as distance and technical demands increase.
Swim approximately 25 yards of freestyle with rhythmic breathing
Swim approximately 25 yards of backstroke with continuous movement
Demonstrate basic breaststroke kick and timing for 10 to 15 yards
Tread water for approximately one minute
Maintain technique and control as distance increases
Confidence grows from the right kind of practice
Safety in Every Skill
Safe entry, wall recovery, floating, and exiting are reinforced throughout each lesson.
Confidence Without Pressure
Swimmers are encouraged through predictable routines and gradual challenges, never forced.
Small Groups
A maximum 3:1 ratio creates more turns, more feedback, and less waiting.
Mastery Before Moving Up
Advancement is based on consistent independent skills, not simply finishing a package.

Questions parents ask before registering
No. Level 3 is a stroke-development class that builds the technical foundation for advanced lessons or a future swim team. The emphasis remains on safe, efficient, repeatable swimming.
Swimmers may begin dolphin kick and butterfly body movement. Full butterfly coordination is normally developed in Level 4 after stronger breathing, balance, and endurance are established.
Turning to breathe while maintaining body position allows a swimmer to continue freestyle more efficiently. Instructors teach the timing gradually instead of encouraging swimmers to lift the head forward for air.
Distance alone does not determine placement. If the swimmer lacks breathing control, body position, or safe recovery skills, Level 3 may still be the appropriate class.
Possibly, but it is not guaranteed. A level represents a group of skills, not a fixed number of lessons. Coordinating strokes and breathing often requires repetition across more than one package.
The instructor will evaluate the swimmer in the water. If another level is more appropriate, the team will recommend the best available adjustment based on skill, age, and open class space.
